Slow Food Nation

From August 29-September 1, 2008, Slow Food Nation will showcase a wide range of American products in a variety of ways, including growers and artisans selling their products; guided tastings; and a great hall that will tell stories from the American food community. If you would like to have your product or a product you know included in this event, or if you would like to participate as a vendor or presenter, please return the nomination form by April 10th for consideration in all areas of Slow Food Nation. Note the deadline, previously March 30th, has been extended.

Marin County Fair

This year the Marin County Fair will run July 2nd-6th and promises to be the "greenest county fair on earth." MFM believes that one of the most exciting parts of "being green" is celebrating local farmers, specialty food purveyors and artists. The Marin County Fair is currently accepting applications for their competitive exhibits. The categories range from horticulture and honey, to baked goods and fine art. Visit the Marin County Fair website for more information and links to the application that best fits your unique product. Applications are due by May 15th.
