The Newark Farmers Market is located at the NewPark Mall. This market boasts an incredible community of family farms that make this market a local Sunday tradition for all. Come celebrate with us every Sunday, 9 AM - 1 PM at Newpark Mall between the Macy’s and Sears' parking lots. Enjoy a market that’s easy to get to, with plenty of parking, and the freshest produce of the season grown by local farmers. It’s a come one, come all community event!

Welcome

With its incredible international ethnic diversity of Asian and Arab peoples of Hmong, India, Filipino, Russian, Afghani and Pakistani cultures among others, this market caters to this diverse community. Attendance at this market continues to grow and makes this our second largest marketplace. The local Fremont Argus newspaper Readers poll gave this market its Best Farmers Market. The East Bay Express named it one of the top five farmers markets in the East Bay in 2006.

Weekly Updated Schedules

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!
The winter rains have been very good for our California farmers. As long as we do not have a hard freeze, many spring crops are coming along nicely and will be back for sale at the market soon.

Citrus is outstanding this spring! Oranges and mandarins are super juicy and sweet this year (and full of vitamin C to keep your immune system healthy too!). We have organic and conventionally grown citrus to choose from. Make sure you sample from each grower so you can choose the best variety for you!

Strawberries are back (Roberto @ Rodriguez Ranch, Rudolfo @ RM Farms, and Patricia @ Rodriguez Farms all have very delicious early season berries. They are very sweet for the first of the year and a welcome delicious treat for your family!

Broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, daikon, potatoes, asian greens, and carrots are delicious on the vegetable category.

P & E Growers Anthony is back with a great selection of plants, trees, and herb starts for your garden and property. Make sure you ask him how to care and grow the plants you are interested in. Its a great time to get a planting!

Welcome to our newest farmers/vendors!

The Tao of Cake- Deanne and Happy joined us for the 1st time on March 9, 2008. These wonderful ladies offer for sale the most outrageous, delicious carrot cake along with stone soup. Their carrot cake is simply the best I have ever had. The "stone soup" is an amazing tasty soup made from fresh ingredients offered for sale at the market. The "stone" part is mushrooms. I tell you what....I just love both of their products soooo much! I can't wait to buy some this Sunday! Welcome aboard Tao of Cake!!!

Black and White Bakery This is a brand new bakery from Hayward that has so many delicious breads, pastries, pretzels, and more!

Lucid Coffee Consortium Scott will be here for the first time on April 20th with freshly made coffee drinks, tea, and free trade coffee beans.

May 11, 2008- Diego Jamieux - We lovingly call Diego "The Whistler", as he intertwines beautiful lyrics with some very sensual whistling. He plays with such emotion, and you will enjoy him alot!

May 18, 2008- Down The Road - Come ready to dance today as this local band is going to play some great rock and classic rock, oldies, disco, r&b, blues for you!

Our new location is located in the NewPark Mall parking lot on the northwest side of the mall in between Macy's and Sears parking lots.

From the 880 fwy/Mowry Ave. : exit Mowry Ave., turn west over fwy. Go approximately 1/4 mile on Mowry Ave., turn left into entrance to NewPark Mall. Market is straight ahead in parking lot between Macy's and Sears parking lots.

From 880 fwy/Stevenson Ave. : exit Stevenson Ave, turn west over fwy. Go approximately 1/4 mile turn left (north) onto Balentine Ave. Continue straight ahead to mall, turn left onto Mall Rd. that circles mall. Market will be on right side in parking lot between Macy's and Sears parking lots.
